Amazon Music is seeking a Head of Brand & Social for Latin America, to lead our strategy and initiatives across brand campaigns, organic social, brand guardianship and events/sponsorships. The Head of Brand & Social will lead a pan-LATAM team, with direct reports based in Brazil and Mexico. We are seeking an experienced leader, with a proven track record mobilizing cross-functional teams, planning, and delivering results, plus a drive for testing, learning and making data-driven decisions. You will need to possess an entrepreneurial ability to try new and different things with mínimal direction. Overall, you will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas and establish best practices for Amazon Music.
**LOCATIONS**: This role may sit in Mexico City or Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Key job responsibilities
- Social Media: Manage organic local social channels in LATAM to drive awareness and engagement of Amazon Music (inclusive of planning, posting, boosting and creative development with an external agency). Includes ownership of strategy, reporting and creative output. Partner with international teams to drive consistency.
- Campaign Management: Work with internal teams and external agencies to drive awareness and brand perceptions of Amazon Music within LATAM by developing, planning, localizing and executing marketing campaigns. This includes both creative development, media planning and analysis of performance.
- Own upper and lower-funnel measurement approach for all campaign activity to prove effectiveness and efficiency. Set and report on annual awareness and brand perception goals.
- Brand Management: Act as Brand Guardian for LATAM, and globally. Set and monitor brand guidelines (creative, copy, tone of voice) for the wider team. Provide guidance and approval for Amazon Music brand externally.
- Events/Sponsorships: Support delivery of events/sponsorship across LATAM, where they deliver against awareness goals. Inclusive of pre-evaluation, delivery and post-evaluation.
- Budget: Own and manage the Brand Marketing budget and maximize spend to achieve business goals.
- Team: Hire and develop a strong team.
- MBA
- Experience in, and understanding of, the entertainment industry, preferably within Podcasts or Music.
- Experience with digital products and interactive entertainment.
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management.
