Executive Director, Kennebec Regional Development Authority Job posted with Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce . The Kennebec Regional Development Authority (KRDA) seeks to fill the position of Executive Director. Kennebec Regional Development Authority manages FirstPark, a 285‑acre business park community in Oakland, Maine, supported by 24 surrounding communities. FirstPark is home to 16 businesses, including anchor tenant T‑Mobile, a call center employing more than 800 people. Sites range from five to 24 acres, and the park is located in a foreign‑trade zone. Responsibilities Responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of FirstPark. Maintain communications with KRDA’s Executive Board, General Assembly members and the 24 associated municipalities. Lead marketing, lot sales, interaction with regional, state and federal economic development organizations/agencies, and oversight/support of development projects within FirstPark. Maintain a flexible schedule to facilitate and/or attend day/evening events and meetings. Qualifications Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Economic Development. Preferred ten years of relevant experience in facilities management, including supervisory and budget management. Demonstrated strong and effective communication skills.
