Requirements
  • Supporting applications running on Java following object-oriented design principles
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring, and Hibernate
  • Experience with web development frameworks like Angular or React
Key criteria
  • Comfortable coding in Java, debugging API calls, writing quality snippets, and creating scripts for debugging tools
  • Basic knowledge of UI and API integration
  • Presentable and confident communicator, able to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Willing to handle support issues while also working on automation and process improvements
  • Proficient in English
Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve support issues with external clients and internal teams, serving as an escalation point
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure issues are resolved effectively
  • Develop and enhance our SRE strategy for platform scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce risks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Work closely with engineering to address client issues
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident responses
  • Continuously improve systems and processes for better reliability
  • Contribute to roadmap improvements focusing on client experience and analytics
  • Create documentation, runbooks, and code snippets for clients and internal teams
