Position Overview:
As a Business and People Consulting Trainee at Mercer, you will participate in a comprehensive development program focused on building expertise in business, management, and people advisory services. You will collaborate with experienced consultants to deliver innovative solutions that enhance organizational performance and talent management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior consultants in research, data analysis, and client assessments.
- Assist in creating and delivering client presentations, reports, and proposals.
- Participate in project planning and execution related to talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Learn Mercer's consulting methodologies and tools.
- Contribute to thought leadership and best practices in people management.
- Engage in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs to develop consulting skills and industry knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree (conclusion 2023, 2024, or 2025) in business administration, engineering, economics, finance, physics, mathematics, or related fields.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to design presentations and storytelling, using tools like PowerPoint for clear, engaging narratives.
- Basic knowledge of data ETL processes and visualization tools such as Excel, KNIME, Power BI, Qlik, or equivalents.
- Data storytelling skills to interpret and communicate complex data effectively.
- Interest in management consulting, organizational development, Human capital, Digital Transformation, and business strategy.
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a team environment.

- Analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, adaptability, critical thinking, organizational, presentation, and ethical judgment skills.
