Job Description

  1. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing excellent service with professionalism and friendliness, seeking operational improvements daily, and constantly acting in the best interest of the client regarding service options and tariffs.
  2. Understand the services offered by shipping lines / co-loaders and the available capacity to meet local market demands.
  3. Know the different types of clients and cargo transported.
  4. Understand import and export processes according to local procedures and product policies.
  5. Have mastery of pricing and client credit conditions.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and service providers.
  7. Create and update Operational Procedures (SOP) for each client regularly.
  8. Follow up and update shipment systems according to operational routines set by the manager.
  9. Register new shipments on official company platforms.
  10. Review and approve shipment documentation as necessary, ensuring compliance.
  11. Daily update of shipments based on internal systems and shipping line information.
  12. Manage automatic alerts for clients.
  13. Send arrival alerts with final documents to clients (Pre-alert).
  14. Monitor daily activities with clients and report any inconsistencies to the Manager and Supervisor/Coordinator.
  15. Provide operational support to Management and Supervision during client performance evaluations and daily operational needs.
  16. Audit electronic folders for each shipment to ensure all documents and communications are properly stored internally.

Qualifications

  • Degree or specialization in Foreign Trade or International Relations.
  • Fluent English.
