Minimum qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript). 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms. Preferred qualifications Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience. Experience working with product and engineering teams. Experience developing large-scale systems, with large data processing or complex UX flows with a lot of users. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities Establish and follow software development best practices and an engineering culture. Participate in the definition, design and development of the next generation of Alphabet's risk and compliance products. Work with both back-end and front-end, learning the main technologies in Google's software development stack. Work closely with our UX team to ensure our products reflect Product Excellence and are accessible. Make our team a welcoming team which has respect built in it.
