RolePayroll Specialist
Location: São Paulo Office (Brazil) – 4 days in the office and 1 day of home office per week. The team covers Ebury LATAM offices in São Paulo, Mexico and Chile.
Responsibilities- End to end processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls as part of a small team.
- Analysis and documentation of each country’s control framework and payroll processing guidance.
- Ad hoc project support.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders (Finance, HR, etc.) and the payroll provider to ensure end-to-end process excellence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
- Perform reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payrolls.
- Stay up to date with local payroll regulations.
- Support Finance teams with month-end close and reporting activities.
- Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Attend to all escalated and critical payroll related issues on a timely basis.
- At least 3 years’ experience of processing payroll across multiple countries.
- Experience of working with a global payroll provider/system.
- Experience in working with manual processes undergoing automation transformation.
- Process documentation and control framework building/writing.
- Ability to take ownership of payroll processes.
- Problem solving mindset and positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent language communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookup and other formulas).
