We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive significant revenue growth in our LATAM customers by supporting them buying experiences pre
- and post-sales. As an Associate Customer Advisor for AWS, your role will involve collaborating to define and implement strategies within the AWS organization.
Collaborating with sellers on marketplace and AWS Account teams, your role will be to position AWS Marketplace as the preferred choice for "Buyers" in these territories. As the owner of this business, you will work with others to set strategy and determine which products to pursue in order maximize value and selection for Buyers. You will engage directly with key leaders, key software vendors and channel partners to drive customer adoption and be part of a team that serves as trusted advisor to our customers, to AWS Sales Leadership, and to various AWS internal teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop a short term and long-term strategic AWS Marketplace plan for the key targets within the AWS customer community. Identify specific customer segments and accounts to approach with a joint value proposition for using AWS Marketplace meet or exceed assigned revenue and performance goals
- Work with existing AWS business development, Partner Sales and field organizations to engage with customers, and partners to execute joint go to market programs, owning the day-to-day interactions with existing customers and green-field accounts to identify needs met through AWS Marketplace.
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
- Serve as a key member of the Marketplace team, helping to define and deliver the strategy for SI Consulting and ISV technology partners.
- Understand the technical requirements from customers and partners and work closely with the internal development team to guide the direction of our product offerings.
- Provides hands-on support as required for buyers as they procuring and deploying offerings available on AWS Marketplace
- Assists Field Enablement, Product Management, and Customer Advisors, with communicating new program launches to the AWS Field Sales Teams, including educating on the status of promotions and incentives available to customers to maximize adoption.
- Monitors renewals reporting and acts with AWS Marketplace personnel, AWS Field Sales, and Partners, to maximize renewal rates.
- Prepare and provide business reviews and executive communication to the senior management team.
- Ability to travel up to 10 to 25% as necessary to implement new programs, meet with customers, prospects, partners, account teams.
