Job Description Provide support to the Sales team by delivering technical and business knowledge of payment acceptance processes and associated services (including fraud, payment security & 3D‑Secure). Work closely with regional Sales, internal operations, and product teams to ensure new clients are integrated successfully. Provide deep technical consultancy services for proof‑of‑concept design, programmatic expertise around Cybersource SOAP and REST APIs, and hosted payment acceptance through XML for tier 0 & 1 clients. The role focuses on servicing Brazil, using independent decision‑making to support a mix of net‑new and existing install‑base clients across CyberSource core products and services, including new gateway implementation, payment acceptance, payment security & risk services, and systems architecture. Responsibilities Develop in‑depth subject‑matter expertise of CyberSource products through research, implementation, and testing to serve as a subject matter expert during prospect interactions. Maintain current product knowledge and share it with global teams, collaborating with product teams across CyberSource & Visa via technical testing and investigative exercises. Support sales engagements (RFPs, technical solution demos, whiteboarding sessions, solution design, requirements identification, feasibility validation) throughout the sales life cycle for net‑new and upsell initiatives. Supervise the project lifecycle for client implementations, including planning and estimation. Ensure successful implementation, deployment, and launch of net‑new clients using CyberSource services, driving new revenue for strategic enterprise clients. Engage and collaborate with tier 0 & tier 1 clients (acquirers, payment facilitators, marketplaces) across verticals such as retail, travel, digital, financial, telco, government, and gaming. Provide training on CyberSource products & services through classroom or train‑the‑trainer sessions, and produce clear documentation based on business and functional requirements. Work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision across Brazil. Key Results Areas Support pre‑sales activities (net‑new and upsell) that convert sales and drive additional service uptake for tier 0 & 1 clients. Deliver successful implementation and support for tier 0 & 1 merchants, achieving on‑time go‑live and contributing to forecasted transactional volume and revenue. Engage during the sales cycle to secure wins for net‑new and upsell services. Demonstrate deep product knowledge, articulating all core CyberSource capabilities to senior leadership. Provide technical delivery for internal strategic initiatives and beta programs, launching new products/services. Train and mentor junior team members in core product knowledge and technical enablement. Maintain the Employee Engagement Survey Action Plan, delivering milestones in partnership with direct managers. This is a hybrid position. Office attendance will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Basic Qualifications 5 or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 2+ years with an advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years with a PhD. Preferred Qualifications 6 or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 4+ years with an advanced degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD. 5 years of experience in eCommerce, card‑not‑present industry, with emphasis on payments, risk management, or payment security. Significant active experience as a sales engineer, software engineer, or technical support in a technical and commercial environment. Cross‑functional collaboration experience among technical, service delivery, support, and commercial teams. Intermediary programming & scripting skills in Java, PHP, C, .NET, HTML, JavaScript, Flash, PNG. Strong technical communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences. High customer focus, detail orientation, and excellent negotiation skills. Proficiency in mainstream software applications for writing, presentation, and data management. Experience providing ongoing consultancy to tier 0 & 1 merchants across multiple verticals. Technical programming for web service environments across hosted platforms (Web and Mobile).
