**Industry Portfolio Development Executive - Process Industries (Metals & Mining, Fibers and Chemicals)**
As part of a Software Sales organization, advocate and drive the development of assigned industries—Metals & Mining, Fibers and Chemicals—through the identification of a clear target market and go to market strategy, and the execution of entire digital thread campaign strategies to maximize strategic software opportunities. Act as trusted advisor to Sales and PreSales teams by providing guidance on the planning, execution and measurement of industry portfolio development activities. Define and execute a Country industry portfolio plan by determining where to focus and aligning with Sales Management. Identify challenges to the execution of the Country industry portfolio plan and execute required activities to overcome them. Act as key point of contact for Sales and Partner teams for campaign knowledge and industry expertise across the entire Digital Thread. Provide feedback on Digital Thread campaign collateral improvements to the appropriate BU leader, based on industry relevance and customer insights. Works under self-management with some supervision on assignments/pursuits and will determine solutions, methods and procedures. Provides guidance and mentoring within a Country/Vertical/Region to others on portfolio development approaches in the specific industry focus areas. To achieve success, an Industry Portfolio Development will be responsible to build, maintain and execute the industry portfolio business plan that is aligned with the Country and Sales Leadership strategy.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Champion the assigned industries internally and externally by developing tailored strategies that reflect each industry's business dynamics, challenges, and opportunities
- Engage with Sales, Sales Leadership, Channel and Portfolio Development Domain teams on the industry strategy, as well on account and territory planning
- Leverage your deep expertise in the Process Industries to effectively position and communicate Siemens’ uniquely broad portfolio of industry software and its benefits to potential clients.
- Drive strategic business conversations with the key customer’s representatives using a value-oriented approach to articulate Siemens’ value proposition and be considered an industry trusted advisor
- Ensure Sales teams and Portfolio Development Domain stakeholders are informed about relevant Go-to-Market campaigns and aligned with the industry's execution plan.
- Be able to express the company’s business value in non-technical terms (then if required, at a more technical level)
- Ability to identify business needs through customer assessments and to develop impactful value propositions by leveraging Siemens’ broad portfolio of industry digitalization software.
- Drive campaigns execution with Industry, Marketing and Sales teams in alignment with the region strategy consistently supporting the business development of the portfolio ensuring the growth Software targets are met.
- Deliver campaign and initiative materials to prospects and customers tailoring the message as required in both industry and customer specific context.
- Promote Industry specific Digital Threads as part of Siemens Xcelerator messaging
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Industry Consulting, with strong and proven knowledge of enterprise software solutions (e.g., PLM, ERP, Digital Manufacturing, MOM, Supply Chain, IoT, Low-Code Platforms).
- Solid experience in digital transformation, primarily in the Metals & Mining industry, with deep expertise in industry processes. Additional experience in Fibers, Chemicals, and Energy & Utilities is a plus.
- Proven success in engaging and selling to C-Level executives.
- Consulting background and Industry Value Advisor skills are considered assets, especially with demonstrated experience in the Process industries.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly articulating complex technical concepts and delivering impactful executive-level presentations.
- Willingness to travel 30% to 50% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
