What's the role?

As a Dynatrace Log Management and Analytics Solutions Engineer, you will be a key member of the sales team, responsible for providing technical support and demonstrating Dynatrace's capabilities in observability, specifically in Log Management and Analytics. Your duties include executing demos, managing POCs onsite and remote, building relationships with customers, and supporting RFIs & RFPs. You will collaborate with teams across Dynatrace, including innovation labs, Expert Services, CSMs, and marketing.

About you

You should be ambitious, confident, self-motivated, with previous SE or similar technical customer-facing experience. Passion for technology, sales, and articulating value is essential. Key qualities include teamwork, communication skills, troubleshooting ability, project management, adaptability, and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities
  • Promote Dynatrace at trade shows and customer meetings.
  • Identify new and existing sales opportunities.
  • Participate in PoC creation and cloud architecture discussions.
  • Present to C-suite executives.
  • Guide customers through discovery and solution evaluation stages.
  • Deliver product demonstrations at events and online.
  • Gather customer feedback for product improvement.
  • Share best practices and develop team capabilities.
  • Support partners and internal sales teams with technical expertise.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience with observability and log pipelines (e.g., FluentBit, OpenTelemetry, Logstash).
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with query languages (SQL, SPL, KQL).
  • Knowledge of web technologies, programming/scripting languages, OS (Windows/Linux), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and automation tools.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $120,000 - $160,000, based on experience and location.
  • Additional benefits include unlimited PTO, stock purchase plan, medical/dental, and 401(k).
