Cisco is seeking a Networking Solutions Engineer to join the Americas Organization, based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Meet the team

As a Networking Solutions Engineer, you will primarily partner with a Networking Account Executive. You will also collaborate with Portfolio Account Teams, Partners, and cross-functional teams to promote Cisco Networking solutions and meet customer needs.

Your impact

You will work with the Americas Networking Organization as a Solutions Engineer covering the Enterprise Brazil territory. Your responsibilities include leading RFP responses, setting up demonstrations, driving proof of values, explaining features and benefits, and designing and configuring products to meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with Account Executives to drive business growth
  • Driving demand generation activities
  • Enabling internal and external technology capabilities
  • Understanding customer requirements and mapping technical solutions
  • Designing network solutions to solve customer needs and foster innovation
  • Performing product demos and Proof of Concept (PoC) labs
  • Collaborating across various business teams
  • Helping customers with complex digital transformation opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
  • Passion for technology and customer interaction in a pre-sales, technical role
  • Experience in pre-sales and understanding of competitive networking products (HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Cisco or non-Cisco certifications, with CCNP or equivalent as a minimum; CCIE, CCDE, DevNet, AWS, Google, Terraform certifications are desirable
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in designing Routing, SD-WAN, Wireless, and Switching deployments
  • Extensive networking protocol knowledge (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, LISP)
  • Knowledge of network segmentation technologies and network management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • API and programmability knowledge is a plus
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time; flexible work options available
