Transportation Specialist, BR Commercial Carriers

Overview As a key member of our Commercial Carriers team, you'll support the optimization of our transportation network and carrier partnerships. You'll dive into multi-regional operations, help launch innovative delivery programs, and contribute to strategic initiatives that define the future of logistics. Working alongside with the Commercial Carrier Managers, you'll help enhance delivery operations while ensuring network efficiency across diverse markets. Key Job Responsibilities Support carrier capacity planning and performance monitoring Assist in maintaining carrier relationship documentation and communications Track and analyze carrier share distribution data Support the launch of new programs with 3P carriers Help prepare peak season readiness analyses Maintain operational dashboards and reports Assist in new program launches documentation and tracking Generate regular performance reports for multiple regions A Day in the Life Generate carrier share distribution reports Analyze regional performance variations Support capacity planning updates Work on program launch support tasks Update tracking systems Support peak season planning Update capacity forecasts Assist with cost analysis Update stakeholder communications Support new program implementations Attend carrier review meetings About the Team Key Stakeholder Interactions: Internal Teams Carrier Managers - collaborate on WBRs, MBRs and carriers' performance discussions Business launch teams Transportation Operations - Daily alignment on carrier performance and operational issues External Partners 3P Carriers - Regular performance reviews and improvement discussions Carrier Operations Teams - Daily operational alignment and issue resolution Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field Experience in transportation or logistics Proficiency in Excel and basic SQL Experience with data visualization tools Project management experience Experience with carrier operations Knowledge of transportation network design Familiarity with capacity planning concepts Experience with business intelligence tools Background in peak season operations Understanding of multi-regional logistics Experience with process improvement methodologies Strong analytical and data interpretation skills Our inclusive culture Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
