At our organization, we require a skilled IT professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to end users and ensuring the smooth running of computers, network devices, and printers. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving end-user application issues, maintaining and updating technical support documentation, handling asset management, and liaising with vendors. Additionally, the ideal candidate will maintain and monitor office network infrastructure, IT security, and antivirus tools, as well as perform first-level troubleshooting and support for scheduled server backups, system monitoring, and reports. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware and software issues Document and maintain technical support procedures and guides Manage and update inventory records for company assets Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and negotiate service contracts Requirements include a diploma or degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience operating in a similar role. Required Skills and Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows and macOS) Understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, and LAN technology fundamentals Hands-on experience in Windows server administration and basic knowledge in Linux server administration are beneficial Professional certifications like Microsoft Certified or CCNA are advantageous Other essential qualities include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
