Job Description Senior HR Specialist at CooperVision is an employee‑facing role that provides a professional level of partnership to employees and managers. Working closely with Senior HR Management, the role supports the LATAM function across a broad range of HR responsibilities, including employee relations, training, performance management, wage and salary administration, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, affirmative action, employment law compliance, and terminations. The position delivers high quality solutions that help maintain an engaging, high‑performing company culture. Responsibilities Design and lead the HR strategy in partnership with the Sr. HR LATAM Manager, supporting Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Recognition, Engagement, Organizational Design, Workforce Planning, and other HR competencies. Ensure alignment to regional and global HR strategies and to local and federal regulatory requirements. Execute the delivery of HR programs and services in collaboration with internal HR Centers of Expertise and corporate areas. Drive a culture of positive engagement by facilitating the employee survey, tracking results, following up on action plans, and communicating best practices regionally. Implement compensation and benefits programs that support business objectives, ensuring competitiveness, equity, and accuracy. Partner with the Sr. HR LATAM Manager to develop a strong talent strategy aligned with the business strategy. Track HR metrics in Brazil to improve decisions on workforce diversity, employee retention, and talent acquisition. Manage the HR budget and ensure financial follow‑up throughout the fiscal year with Finance and the Brazil General Manager. Provide guidance and leadership to People Managers, initiating and managing individual and team coaching for development. Occasionally support the implementation of HR programs and services in the region. Provide administrative support for accurate completion of HR transactional processes. Guide and support employees and managers in using My Cooper modules and functionality. Ensure all compliance transactions are fulfilled through process governance and compliance checks. Support recruitment, onboarding, internal mobility, and off‑boarding processes. Conduct HR data analysis (turnover, absenteeism, engagement, etc.) and propose corrective actions. Support leadership development and team training programs. Improve manager and employee performance by identifying issues, evaluating solutions, and implementing corrective measures. Advise supervisors, managers, and employees on consistent application of established policies and practices, recommending and communicating policy changes as needed. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment, staying abreast of changes in laws, case law, regulations, policies, and programs relevant to employee relations and employment practices. Assist with daily recruitment activities, including job postings, requisition coordination, interview scheduling, and placement of entry‑level, professional, and management positions. Qualifications Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Technologically savvy and detail‑oriented. Advanced English proficiency. Demonstrated experience in administering human resources programs. Ability to develop sound insights from data and create meaningful executive reports and presentations. Professional communication across a wide variety of employee levels and locations. Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism. General understanding of HR processes. Trusted point of contact for employees, promoting active listening and conflict resolution. Previous experience as an HRBP or Senior HR Analyst, preferably in multinational environments. Knowledge of labor laws in Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. Excellent communication, influence, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills and results orientation. Strong planning and organization skills. Collaborative, results‑driven approach.
