About the Role Recruiting Manager: lead our talent acquisition team and strategy, serving as the critical link between senior leadership and hiring execution to support Darkroom’s ambitious growth goals. Responsibilities Team Leadership & Coordination: coordinate daily activities, priorities and resources of the recruiting team (Senior Recruiters, Recruiters, Coordinators) to ensure alignment with objectives and hiring targets. Strategic Partnership (SPOC): serve as the single point of contact for senior leadership, providing updates, insights, and recommendations on hiring status, market conditions and talent pipeline health. Hiring Plan Execution: own delivery of overall hiring plan, ensure all open positions are filled in a timely manner, manage requisition load and balance efforts across departments (Engineering, Product, G&A, Sales). Process Optimization: continuously evaluate and refine end‑to‑end recruitment processes, tools and systems to maximize efficiency, candidate experience and hiring quality. Data & Reporting: develop and present key recruiting metrics, reports, dashboards to senior leadership, leveraging data to drive decisions and forecast hiring needs. Vendor Management: manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, sourcing partners and vendors. Recruiter Development: mentor, coach and develop the recruiting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting, with at least 2 years of managing a recruiting team. Proven ability to lead and motivate a high‑performing recruiting team in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to influence executive‑level stakeholders. Strategic mindset: experience translating business objectives into tactical recruiting strategies and operational plans. Process acumen: deep understanding of full‑cycle recruiting and ability to implement effective sourcing, interviewing, and closing strategies. System knowledge: proficiency with ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever) and data visualization/reporting tools. Compliance: strong knowledge of employment laws and hiring regulations.
