About Darkroom Darkroom is a technology-driven growth marketing firm focused on growth-stage consumer companies. We were founded in 2017 out of a conviction that the iconic ad agencies of tomorrow would look very different. Darkroom is a human services firm built on a universal AI commerce layer called Matter. Our model deploys a unique blend of senior, human resources enriched by an agentic technology stack that enhances output, efficiency, and revenue generation for our clients. Our team has been responsible for billions of dollars in trackable revenue across the various e-commerce marketplace, direct-to-consumer, and social commerce programs under management. Using research aggregated across these engagements, we accelerate results for our portfolio by developing high-impact digital strategies that unlock gateways to revenue growth, transform marketing operations, and prioritize profitability. What started as a boutique design agency evolved into one of the fastest-growing private companies in America (Inc. 5000), one of the most successful results-driven performance media agencies of the 2020s (Varos), and esteemed recognition by Forbes 30 Under 30 for our founders’ contribution in Marketing & Advertising (Forbes). About the role Darkroom is seeking a dedicated and experienced Recruiting Manager to lead our talent acquisition team and strategy. Data & Reporting: Develop and present key recruiting metrics, reports, and dashboards to senior leadership, leveraging data to drive decision-making and forecast hiring needs. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, sourcing partners, and vendors as needed. Recruiter Development: Mentor, coach, and develop the recruiting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, high performance, and deep business acumen. Standard Requirements Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting, with at least 2 years of experience managing, leading, or mentoring a team of recruiters. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a high-performing recruiting team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and articulate hiring strategy and data to executive-level stakeholders. Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated experience in translating business objectives into tactical recruiting strategies and operational plans. Process Acumen: Deep understanding of full-cycle recruiting, best practices, and the ability to implement effective sourcing, interviewing, and closing strategies.
