Business Development Manager Natural Ingredients

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue with R&D new Scent business opportunities from local Brazilian flora to key strategic markets within Brazil.
- Participate and coordinate at the commercial level the R&D action plan for the development of new natural ingredients.
- Implement strategic business development plans for naturals ingredients to achieve growth and financial profitability.
- Establish monthly reports monitoring the actions and sales generated and carries out competitive intelligence.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with two strategic clients and local suppliers / partners in coordination and full alignment with local IFF Fine Fragrance teams.
- Support local Scent commercial teams to meet customers' expectation in the frame of this project.
- Negotiate business deals and contracts to ensure the best terms for the company.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business strategies.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to promote the company's services and products.
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients, tailoring solutions to their needs.
- Set and achieve goals for the development team, ensuring business growth objectives are met.
- Train personnel and help team members develop their understanding on naturals.
- Work in collaboration with the local ingredients team to support their actions whenever needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the Brazilian market.- Language Requirement: Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish and/or French is a plus.
- Proven track record of successful sales and contract negotiations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in digital advertising or marketing sectors is highly desirable.
- Sensitiveness to environmental and biodiversity topics.
