**Responsible for**: Sales, Hunting, Prospecting, New Business and Revenue Growth
**Job Purpose**
Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities to approach and sell Aviva Digital technology and services. Hunter Profile and Client prospecting. Revenue Growth.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Contact the appropriate decision makers at the companies on your client prospect list via telephone, during face-to-face meetings and at events in order to introduce Aviva Digital technology and services.
Negotiate and close a specified number of sales prospects every month to gain contractual commitment for their use of Aviva Digital technology and services.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities to approach and sell Aviva Digital technology and services.
- Take a leading role in uncovering new partnership opportunities with clients for Aviva Digital.
Actively supporting the efforts of your colleagues to propose our technology suite to client in order to increase Aviva Digital revenue.
- Provide well-written and accurate proposals to your prospects to ensure that the greatest volume of new business is secured with a contract in the shortest possible timeframe. Make sure to keep profitability margin during the negotiation.
- Provide a follow up to your colleagues about the outcome of your sales calls to ensure new business can be set live in the shortest timeframe possible working close to AMs, Operations and Finance.
Maintain the company CRM Dynamics and your sales pipeline updated, with timely and accurate details of your sales activities.
- Develop a broad understanding of digital marketing technologies and topical developments from the digital marketing industry in order to provide your clients with informed and useful insights. E.g. new technology releases from the industry or from Aviva Digital.
- Have versatility and Be well versed in new and established technologies that are complementary to or that compete with Aviva Digital in order to present a convincing business case for companies to purchase Aviva Digital services.
**Experience and Qualifications**
- Bachelors or Masters degree.
- English both spoken and written.
- +3 years’ experience on sales, new business, digital industry.
- Strong knowledge of programmatic, ecommerce and experience of working in the digital ecosystem.
- Strong contacts with Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 clients.
- In this role you will need to be a thinker; able to consider innovative answers and solutions when
presented with a challenge. You will have a responsive attitude when meeting the demands of sales
prospects, established clients and colleagues in equal measure. Your communication with all three will
be consistently courteous, accurate and punctual.
- As a client-facing member of staff you will always be presentable, ready to meet with clients at very
short notice. The nature of sales necessitates that you are persistent, resilient, tenacious and creative in
varying measures to suit the situation at hand.
- Above all you will always represent Aviva Digital and yourself in a professional and honest fashion.
- CRM knowledge Hubspot or Microsoft Dynamics.
**Personal Attributes and Other Requirements**
- Be able to demonstrate that you can establish and maintain a sales client base and good reputation
among your peers.
- Ability to open up a conversation with a cold/new prospect and establish a rapport that will enable you
to quickly identify their business needs. You must then be able to close your sales efficiently.
- You will be self-motivated and organized with the ability to work independently or within a small team.
- You will have a confident and authoritative manner alongside strong written and verbal communication
skills, which includes the ability to present to large and informed audiences.
- You will have a good understanding of how to analyze the value of a prospect to Aviva Digital and to
make the right judgment call on how much of your time and attention a prospective client should be
given.
