This position is a virtual role covering southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
What will you do?- Develop and execute annual Bioscience and Performance Product Sales growth targets and marketing plans for the assigned territory. Evaluate opportunities for growth and manage the customer distribution strategy. Collaborate with Account Managers, Key Account Managers, Product Line, Agronomy, Marketing and other functions to determine the go-to-market model by region and to develop a value proposition based on current customer segmentation, market trends, and strategy.
- Coordinate with Sales Leadership, Agronomy and Crop Nutrition Leads to develop a consistent agronomic positioning of Mosaic products. Assist with the development of training materials and internal Train-the-Trainer programs related to the portfolio, including creating a business case for retailer support, portfolio alignment with Mosaic products, agronomic knowledge of advanced crop nutrition, and positioning the value of biological products for retailers and farmers.
- Develop an annual calendar of promotional and training activities by customer within the sales territory. Organize and participate in technical and promotional events and Mosaic conferences/forums. Support and develop promotional materials and campaigns by customer/region. Work with account managers to create weekly product analyses, budgets, forecasts and ensure data transfer to the sales team and other functions.
- Take an active role in peer mentoring, assist assigned Retail Sales Advisors, provide team leadership in team meetings, and support other special projects.
- Bachelor's Degree required, major in Agribusiness, Marketing, Agronomy, Soil Science or related field
- 5–7 years of high-level sales and/or marketing experience
- Strong background with proprietary products or technology-driven markets (traits, specialized agronomic products/services). Strong agronomic understanding. Retail experience or broad understanding of retail trends and business operations
- Exceptional customer relationship skills and ability to develop trust through listening and responsiveness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation and training skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment, and manage multiple priorities
- Results-oriented
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) preferred

Mosaic is a pay-for-performance company. The salary range for this role is $104,000 – $169,000. Total compensation is based on performance and contribution.
