Role We’re looking for a Business Development Coordinator who expects more from their career. It’s a chance to become a trusted partner to key clients, building relationships to define and deliver our company goals. It’s an opportunity to deliver dunnhumby’s growth strategy through developing new engagements with grocery retailers, CPGs and other prospects across the region. Joining our new business team, you will leverage your strong network to trigger new business opportunities and win sales, pitching our unique and innovative set of customer-first solutions designed for grocery retailers: customer loyalty, customer engagement, category management, price and promotions, data and media monetization. You will manage the new business cycle through prospecting, qualification, needs analysis, stakeholder mapping, pitching and negotiation. Once contracts are won, you will roll out the optimum operating model to get client engagement up and running to execute plans. You will work with a range of stakeholders, product specialists, finance and legal, as well as senior members within client organizations. Responsibilities Develop and drive new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating with potential clients in the grocery retail and CPG sectors Manage the new business cycle: prospecting, needs analysis, stakeholder mapping, pitching, and negotiation Collaborate with internal teams (Products, Finance, Legal) and client senior leaders to define engagement models and execution plans Roll out operating models to enable effective client onboarding and delivery of agreed plans Qualifications Successful track record, 5+ years, of delivering new business targets in a tech / consulting environment A strong network of senior contacts within grocery retailers and CPGs (plus) Building great relationships with new client stakeholders, establishing trust and becoming a true partner Consultative approach to selling, identifying needs and selling customer-first solutions Great collaboration with colleagues What you can expect from us We won’t just meet your expectations.
