Location: São Paulo, Brazil (or surrounding region) Reports to: Business Development Manager – LATAM Work Model: Hybrid (office + field visits + remote coordination) About the Role Chesterton is looking for a Business Development Coordinator based in Brazil to support the strategic growth of our Industrial Lubricants (IL MRO) business. This new position will focus on market expansion, identifying business opportunities, and developing partnerships that add long-term value. You'll collaborate closely with our regional marketing, sales, and distribution teams to drive tactical plans and enhance customer engagement across Brazil, with a future projection into other LATAM markets. Key Responsibilities • Conduct market studies to identify emerging needs and business potential. Prospect and develop opportunities to expand product lines, customers, and commercial alliances. Generate and qualify leads to support the sales funnel and partner network. Strengthen collaboration with supply chain and distribution stakeholders. Support product/service development to meet local demands and customer needs. Oversee logistics coordination and ensure import/export process efficiency within Mercosur. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations. Provide market feedback to enhance offerings and strategic decisions. Who You Are • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering. 5+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or commercial coordination in the industrial sector. Proven knowledge in lubricants, industrial maintenance, equipment repair, or MRO services. Strong understanding of logistics, imports/exports, and Mercosur trade dynamics. Familiarity with INCOTERMS (e.g., FOB, CIF, EXW) and their application in international commercial operations and cost structures. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish; professional proficiency in English is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, planning, and communication skills. Valid driver's license and availability for frequent travel. Preferred Experience • Familiarity with channel partner networks and B2B commercial ecosystems. Exposure to manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial supply sectors. Background in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies. Hands-on with CRM tools, MS Office, and market analytics.
