Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Adidas Shared Services in Bogotá delivers high quality services for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Retail Accounting, eCommerce Accounting and other Finance processes as well as HR Services for adidas companies located in LAM. Responsible for leading the end-to-end payroll process (processing, payment, and accounting) to ensure correct payment of employees and compliance with the current country legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the relation with the payroll vendor and timely execution of standard and complex payroll tasks according to defined processes, schedules, and service levels in accordance with regional and local guidelines.
  • Review the information (hirings, terminations, vacations, car allowance, mobility, holidays worked, commissions, medical leaves, absences, etc.) necessary to achieve the processing of the payroll.
  • Execute personnel payment accurately and timely according to the current country legislation.
  • Execute payment of social security, retirement saving plans, and income taxes to accomplish the current labor law.
  • Present the required documentation in case of audits or inspections (e.g., Ministry of Labor and Employment, Internal audits) to comply with the legislation and company guidelines.
  • Carry out standard and complex audits of personnel data, programs, and processes.
  • Provide consulting and service to employees and the HR community on general and more complex payroll topics.
  • Process standard and complex inquiries & support through ticket self-service, e-mail, and telephone.
  • Run payroll for the appropriate group of employees.
  • Support the continuous improvement of payroll processes and the use of systems.
  • Support in reconciling financial accounts with payroll results.
  • Compare the monthly accounting documents in cooperation with the local data management team, the payroll accounting specialists in the areas of market, finance, and controlling.
  • Timely reporting and preparation of declarations and ensuring appropriate communication with tax authorities, social security, and all other state institutions.
  • Monitor incoming employee payments.
  • Manage the change of systems and processes related to payroll management to ensure proper execution of regulations and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Provide input for changes to corporate policies and regulations.
  • Support projects and modifications of systems and processes to ensure the correct implementation of regulations and compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Administer and manage FTGS, INSS, and IR payments.
  • Administer payroll payments for the items stipulated in each CCT.
  • Create budget reports (PEX).

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Very good association and experience with payroll solutions, ideally with ADP.
  • Strong knowledge in the management of FTGS, INSS, and IR payments.
  • Good understanding of legal regulations related to payroll.
  • Experience in a Shared Service environment or similar.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with a high degree of customer orientation; ability to navigate complex organizations and connect with diverse functions and cultures.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain high customer service standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Highly results-driven, self-motivated team player with compassion, integrity, trust, and perseverance.
  • Curious and open to learning, willing to approach subjects outside of comfort zones and look beyond the obvious.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree or commercial education.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in payroll accounting or finance.
  • English proficiency is required.
  • Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong MS-Office (MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint) user knowledge.
  • Experience with Business computing solutions, ideally with ADP and SAP HR – SSFF.
  • Broad and deep theoretical understanding of job function.
