Effective Communication in Brazilian Portuguese is a high-demand skill set that requires strong translation and localization expertise.
About the Role- We are seeking an accomplished translator who can accurately interpret various business documents, products, and materials from English to Portuguese (Brazil) or Chinese to Portuguese (Brazil).
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Portuguese (Brazil) termbase of our company's products.
- A key component of this role involves product localization, which aims to enhance user experience through precise language adaptation.
- In addition to these primary duties, the successful candidate will perform other tasks related to translation, localization, and communication as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher; fluent in Brazilian Portuguese with additional language proficiency in English or Chinese.
- Relevant work experience in translation with linguistic certifications.
- Proficiency in CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ, and Smartling.
- Experience in finance, securities, futures, and digital currency translation is highly preferred.
- Strong learning abilities, effective communication skills, and quick response times are essential for success in this position.
