Information Technology Manager

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many different hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar role(s) in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, and enjoys helping end users who are in need of help. You will be a participant in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You will have a passion for innovation and creative problem solving, and be adaptable to the ever-changing landscape of the corporate infrastructure environment. You will need to be a highly motivated, dependable and experienced technologist who shares our passion and wants to be part of a fast-moving, execution-oriented team. You will work closely with Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams, including Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and fast learner who is looking for a supportive environment to continue to grow their IT skills and expertise. This role will report to the Director of IT. What You Will Do / Responsibilities Be customer-facing and the first line of support; own support via channels like Slack and Jira, delivering an outstanding experience for employees. All team members are on macOS. Procuring and delivering technology equipment; owning the onboarding experience for new employees and the retrieval process for departing employees. Design, test, build, and document programs, policies, and tools; contribute improvements to existing knowledge with your experience. Support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.). Manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf, etc.). Own and contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta, etc.). Document solutions, craft help articles, and automate recurring tasks. Manage and resolve critical incidents and issues as needed, from inception to completion. Balance help desk tickets and prioritize effectively; work on projects over sprints and document work in Jira (familiar with Agile methods and sprints). Set and work toward personal objectives and key results aligned with team and company goals. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration (Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite). Ability to create automations using Bash, Zsh, Python, etc. Experience with open source tools such as Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc. Ability to integrate SSO into Okta and create workflows in Okta; know-how to work with APIs and integrate systems. Experience providing remote support across multiple countries/time zones; knowledge of shipping/receiving hardware and customs. Excellent communication skills across all media; ability to explain ideas clearly and assist users who may be frustrated or time-poor; Strong writing skills for tickets, email, and Slack; clear, friendly, concise communication, sensitive to different cultures. Security-minded with knowledge of PGP; understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching); methodical OSI-model troubleshooting; ability to self-manage, scope projects, and work across teams. Nice to Haves Some familiarity with AWS; experience with GAM and command-line tools; Jamf, Okta, and Google Workspace certifications.
