Senior Management Position for Apheresis Operations

Apheresis operations require a skilled professional to manage the collection of cells from patients. This position involves developing relationships with apheresis staff, working with clinical and commercial teams to establish the apheresis collection footprint, and ensuring all collection site onboarding activities are successfully completed.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with apheresis staff to ensure efficient and effective collection processes.
- Collaborate with clinical and commercial teams to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the apheresis market.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for apheresis operations.
- Provide quality systems support by participating in deviation activities and impact assessments.
- Monitor and assess vendor performance and capacity after site launch.
- Manage rollout of process changes to assigned sites.
Demonstrated skills and competencies:
- Essential experience in apheresis operations management, QA operations, GMP production or other relevant operational areas. Breadth of experience in regulated environments, understanding of HTA.
- Preferred experience working in apheresis, cellular therapy or stem cell transplant programs. Experience managing contracts with external apheresis providers. Prior customer-facing role in pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
