Position Summary: The Billing Specialist will manage end-to-end billing operations for EMEA, ensuring compliance with local regulations and leveraging portals for electronic invoicing. This role supports Illumina's global finance strategy by maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory adherence in all billing activities. Key Responsibilities Process and validate customer invoices through portals, ensuring compliance with European e-invoicing standards. Monitor invoice status and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and external customers. Maintain accurate billing data in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and reconcile transactions. Support Quote-to-Cash workflows, including credit checks and customer master data updates. Liaise with tax and compliance teams to ensure adherence to local fiscal requirements. Generate reports for billing performance and aging analysis. Additional Activities Bank statement upload for reconciliation and cash application. Billing reconciliation to ensure accuracy between ERP and Pagero data. Manual invoice creation for exceptions or special cases. Information gathering for audits and compliance reviews. Customer refund processing in line with company policy. Customer change requests for master data updates. Output changes for invoice formats and delivery preferences. AR inbox management, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly. Supports downstream AR activities (collections follow ups, customer account maintenance) and audit / compliance requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of billing or accounts receivable experience in a multinational environment. Knowledge in SAP and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot invoice issues. Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. Requirements Must reside in São Paulo and commute 2 days / week. Submit CV in English.
