Senior Infrastructure Analyst – Ecolab This role is for an experienced infrastructure professional responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network and voice communications. Responsibilities Oversee the design, purchase, installation, and support of network communications and services for customers, including LAN/WAN/Voice/Video services in central and remote offices. Ensure high availability of enterprise voice platforms supporting internal business functions and external customer Contact Centers (UCC). Serve as primary contact for telecommunication carriers and service providers, coordinating circuit design, provisioning, installation, and troubleshooting. Analyze complex problems across diverse equipment, making logical evaluations and judgments. Evaluate current network systems performance and trending. Assist in planning large‑scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. Coordinate hand‑offs of incidents to the appropriate technical personnel following a follow‑the‑sun model. Perform analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of network incidents. Work within a large global team; after‑hours and weekend work may be required. Participate in an on‑call rotation for production support. Use ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management) as applicable. Use networking tools, equipment, and processes to maintain infrastructure. Monitor work queues to ensure assigned tickets are completed within SLA. Required Qualifications Practical experience in network implementation and operations. Familiarity with designing, implementing, and maintaining voice‑capable TCP/IP networks using Cisco or other enterprise‑grade equipment. Knowledge of enterprise Ethernet, wireless networks, VLANs, QoS, routing, switching, and IP addressing. Understanding of carrier technologies such as T1/E1/PRI, ISDN, MPLS, Ethernet, point‑to‑point (P2P), and Internet for system interconnectivity. Experience installing, managing, upgrading, and troubleshooting enterprise voice systems, especially Cisco Unified Communication technologies. Availability for after‑hours and weekend work, including participation in an on‑call rotation. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally. Fluent or advanced English. Preferred Qualifications Cisco certifications. Experience with Carrier SIP trunking, ACME, and Cube. Experience managing virtualisation technologies such as VMware vSphere. Hands‑on experience with network platforms: ACME, Cube, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Nexus. Experience with voice platforms: Cisco, Avaya, or Nortel. Strong communication skills and problem‑solving ability. Relevant certificates, licenses, or registrations (CCVP, CCNP, CCIE). Experience with firewall technologies such as Palo Alto or cloud services like Zscaler.
