**Infrastructure**
We deploy long-term capital through direct, and fund investments across the capital structure to diversify our portfolio. You will help to preserve and enhance the value of our direct private and public equity investments, working with top management teams and board of directors.
- The Sao Paulo team was established in 2015, and currently has nine investment professionals. The team is focused on analyzing opportunities in South and Central America, as well as managing the investments made since 2013 in the region. It is integrated into the global team which operates from London, New York, Singapore and Sao Paulo.
- Illustrative investments include Aegea (water and sanitation in Brazil), CART/Eixo SP (toll roads in Brazil), V.tal (fiber optics in Brazil), Neoenergia Transmission (power transmission in Brazil), NTS (gas pipeline in Brazil) and Isagen (power generation in Colombia), amongst others. GIC Infrastructure approaches investments with a buy and hold perspective and manages assets with a long-term perspective. We focus on minority / co-control investments alongside industrial and financial partners and have consolidated ourselves as one of the most active investors in the sector and region.

**What impact can you make in this role**
You will be part of a team that invests into infrastructure companies with stable and predictable cash flows, reasonable risk-adjusted returns and strong impact to local economies.

**What you will do as an Analyst**
- Play a central role in growing GIC Infrastructure’s portfolio and supporting existing investments in the region.
- Under the supervision of the senior team, play an integral role in the full deal lifecycle: deal screening, approvals, execution, asset management and, when appropriate, exits.
- Take on primary role in the financial modeling of transactions, deal with senior management, external advisors and banks.
- Play a key part in deal screening and appraisal, contributing to transaction analysis, and helping prepare the documentation to support investment decisions to investment committee.
- The team operates in a flat and meritocratic culture, empowering staff with open communications and robust challenges. Being a team player and interacting with counterparties in a way that builds on our reputation is everyone’s responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with coursework emphasizing business administration, economics, accounting, finance, and/or engineering. Graduation date between June 2024 and June 2025.
- Previous experience working for a private equity fund, institutional investors, or for investment banks as part of the M&A advisory or Equity research team. Experience in the infrastructure sector is not required.
- Outstanding financial modelling skills are assumed and will be tested. The ability to build models from scratch is required, as well as model review and scenario development.
- You will be detail-oriented with a hands-on attitude to deal execution and will thrive in a culture of high-expectations and personal responsibility to own the investment.
- Strong commercial and intellectual curiosity is a requirement to perform well and advance.
