The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for sales growth of Wabtec industrial business in LATAM region focused on renewables, power generation and steel processing segments. The Senior Sales Manager will serve as the key interface with the customer and effectively manage interactions across the full range of products including heat exchangers and turbocharges.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for business and sales growth leadership for the Wabtec Industrial portfolio for the region
- Develop influential and effective relationships at all levels of the customer's organization and develop strategies to win business
- Integrate the technical support team, including contracts, finance, product support, and others in the implementation of customer strategies
- Lead an integrated sales team to determine/create customer needs (CTQ / VOOC), solving business problems through a consultative, outcome focused approach
- Develop marketing, sales and strategic business plans and be responsible for delivering revenue commitments
- Provide specific leadership, plans, and actions to assure that Wabtec wins profitable sales
- Develop customer strategies, campaign plans, and leadership in their execution
- Responsible for overall customer satisfaction evaluation, plans, and follow through Qualifications/Requirements
Key Role Requirements
- Proven commercial experience including sales, business development or or Product management
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration
- Fluent in English, Spanish (desirable)
- Experience in managing large accounts in the renewables, power generation and steel processing industries
- Heat Exchangers & turbocharges products, services, industry knowledge and technical depth and breadth
- Proven business and sales leadership skills with a successful growth track record and margin retention
- Competitive drive, resilience, courage, determination and passion
- Establishment of effective customer partnerships and the understanding of stakeholder analysis, engagement and influence
- Demonstrated business team leadership, externally with customers and internally between Marketing, Engineering and Product Management
- Executive presence, confidence, communication skills, influence skills and superior negotiation skills
- Ability to lead and manage through changing business conditions Expertise in establishing Value / Price offer combined with reality-based product and service differentiation
