Challenge
As a QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of FranklinCovey's technology stack. You will also design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test plans and scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, as well as provide documentation that clearly articulates how to recreate failed test scenarios.
- When needed - conduct manual testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect identification.
- Collaborate with other members of the QA team to enhance testing processes, tools, and frameworks to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
In order to succeed in this position, you will need:
Mandatory skills
- Advanced/fluent English skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience as a QA Analyst or similar role, with a focus on automation testing, its tools, and frameworks (Playwright and Cypress preferred).
- Experience with programming languages commonly used in test automation (Typescript and Python preferred).
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) process - specifically GitHub Actions.
Nice-to-have
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
- Experience working with PHP and Python will be a plus.
Non-technical skills
- Excellent communication skills, able to identify and communicate potential issues effectively.
- Drive to improve and share knowledge with your teammates continually.
- Be self-motivated, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
