Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description Responsibilities Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives. Guides one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, product, and financial initiatives. Communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers. Supports relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers. Understands and assesses complex supply chain issues and leads teams in a cross‑functional environment to successfully resolve issues, minimizing impacts to vehicle production. Has high skill in warehouse flow and control and the respective WMS systems. Stays updated on Digital Transformation tooling focusing on Supply Chain operations. Assesses supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production. Collaborates cross‑functionally to develop creative solutions. Summarizes critical issues with resolutions and communicates to leadership. Handles very complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with the goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions due to any logistic challenge (local and overseas). Analyzes metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution. Is flexible and at times works extended and non‑core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution. Travels to plant locations when required for onsite support of launch and build‑out. Problem‑tackles complete issues and implements new and innovative strategies. Has a deep understanding of Supply Chain functions. Additional Job Description Coordinates the execution phase on new launches and product improvements along all stakeholders involved in processes (Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality). Supports the team, launch team, and GM tiers on change management to guarantee the best and fast implementation flow. Interfaces with GM tiers, reviewing their production and supply chain flow to guarantee flawless and sustainable launches. Evaluates crisis prevention and impact on GM operation, and manages crisis periods with strategy and planning actions to revert and maintain supply flow accordingly. Has knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, PCP, and procurement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably), Administration or correlated areas. Solid knowledge of product engineering and production flow. MBA is a plus. Fluent in English. Spanish desired. Solid knowledge in Excel and Power BI. Knowledge of data analytics. Deep knowledge of GM ERP process (MGO‑A, MGO‑C, SAP, etc).
