Title and Summary Manager, Alternative Payment Methods, Business Development As the Manager of Alternative Payment Methods (APM), Business Development, you will support Mastercard’s strategy across Latin America by helping identify and execute opportunities in emerging payment flows such as RTP networks, digital wallets, and other non-traditional rails. Working closely with the Vice President of APM, as well as cross‑functional teams, you will contribute to expanding Mastercard’s footprint in areas where APMs are transforming the payments landscape. This role focuses on enabling growth in new flows and customer segments by assisting in the development of strategic partnerships and supporting innovative solutions that align with market needs. Responsibilities Collaborate with local market teams to assess customer needs and identify growth opportunities. Support the development and execution of go-to‑market strategies tailored to regional dynamics. Assist in building and maintaining relationships with key APM players across Latin America. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions. Prepare business cases and contribute to budget planning for APM initiatives. Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Services) to help deliver innovative solutions. Track progress on strategic roadmaps and ensure timely reporting of initiatives. Maintain accurate Salesforce records and ensure data integrity. Promote collaboration and inclusion within the team. All About You Knowledgeable about Latin America’s payments ecosystem and consumer trends. Skilled in relationship management and comfortable working across diverse markets. Strong analytical and business acumen with attention to detail. Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Agile and adaptable, with solid time management and prioritization skills. Fluent in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese highly desirable. Familiarity with Mastercard’s solutions and organizational structure (preferred).
