Olin, one of the global leaders in chemical manufacturing, is hiring a **Human Resources Leader** for the Latin American region which consists of a regional headquarters office in Sao Paulo, Brazil, a manufacturing site in Guaruja, Brazil and a commercial office in Mexico City, Mexico. This position will be located at the **Sao Paulo, Brazil **site and is a critical business partner to the leadership teams and is the top human resources leader for the region. This role will partner with a broad range of leaders and play an important role in helping to set HR strategy, working in all areas of human resources, including employee and labor relations, talent acquisition, coaching and mentoring HR staff, organizational and leadership development, performance management and staffing.

**Human Resources Leader Essential Functions**:
- Explores and recommends opportunities to engage and lift employees through recognition, involvement and challenging assignments.
- Assists in the articulation of the values and culture of the organization and proposes HR management activities which support the organization’s culture
- Participates as a member of the regional leadership team to plan and implement programs to meet human resource requirements supporting short and long-term business needs
- Manages and motivates staff; reviews and assesses performance, develops and builds employee skills, supports their professional development and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department
- Supports diversity and inclusion programs
- Coordinates with appropriate staff to design, develop and maintain meaningful HR metrics and benchmark data for use in workforce planning and succession planning
- Advises and assists management in organization planning and in the development of employees
- Partners with managers to establish development plans for employees, with a focus on critical talent.
**Human Resources Leader Position Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree* in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Business Management, Organizational Development or related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR generalist experience with at least five years in a leadership position in manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop HR staff; build strong and engaged teams.
- Strong technical abilities and experience with HRIS, and other HR systems.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve both individual and team results through a fact-based, collaborative, analytical approach
- Experience with integrating diverse organizational cultures and processes
- Experience in a global organization strongly preferred
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation and facilitation skills
- Organized with the ability to set priorities in a fast paced, high-energy environment
- High level of personal drive and the ability to take initiative; a bias for action
- Self-motivation, positive attitude, high energy, and a strong work ethic
- Stellar problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Must be able to travel approximately 25%
