**THE ROLE**:
This role is an individual contributor position reporting to the VP of Product and is responsible for owning product initiatives from stakeholder request through delivery with a strong emphasis on writing specifications. If you have experience documenting complex business processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and translating real-world needs into clear, actionable software requirements—this is the role for you. (This is not a technical product role and does not involve sprint planning or managing teams.)
- Lead discovery sessions with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, workflow pain points, and regulatory considerations
- Translate stakeholder input into clear, structured product specifications—detailing user needs, functional requirements, and business logic for the development team
- Collaborate with a product designer to define and refine user interface and experience flows that support stakeholder goals
- Partner with software developers to ensure a shared understanding of requirements before development begins, and provide clarifications as needed throughout the build process
- Review completed development work to confirm alignment with specifications, user expectations, and compliance standards
- Coordinate product launches, including stakeholder communications, release documentation, and end-user training
- Monitor adoption of new features including user feedback, roadblocks, and performance metrics.
**THE CANDIDATE**:
- College degree in Business, Process Design, Information Systems or similar field, or equivalent work experience;
- 5-10 years experience in product management, business analysis, or similar roles.
- Extensive background in writing clear, detailed specifications for software development
- Comfortable owning the full lifecycle of a product feature or enhancement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Able to synthesize complex requirements into structured documentation that drives development
- Strong attention to detail, especially in reviewing solutions for compliance with business needs and specifications
- **ADVANCED English level required (read/write/speak)**
