Join us as we continue to power the industry that powers the world.**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**- Manage and coordinate the activities of staff including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department.- Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.- Manage budget and expenditures.- Responsible for all quality related processes at a facility or regional level.- Provide support to manufacturing, engineering, sales and marketing.- Effectively utilize the authority to acquire corrective action through management.- Monitor, review and approve quality audits.- Acquire working relationships with technical staffs of operators, contractors, agents and third party personnel.- Attend industry seminars and trade shows, as available and as specified.- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.**FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**- Analyze current quality assessment techniques for inconsistencies and redundancy- Collaborate with management and production staff to achieve most efficient and accurate quality assessments.- Create and implement changes to improve current processes and reduce cost- Follow products through the entirety of process to ensure each step is completed correctly- Monitor detailed inspections of raw material and final products and confirm they are up to standards.- Monitor production and quality processes and find resolutions to any discrepancies.- Research and monitor client and customer feedback for ways to improve products- Track, record and maintain quality assurance data.- Effectively communicate and maintain the organization’s quality policy- Assist top management in defining and acquiring essential resources to establish, implement, maintain, and improve the quality management system.- In alliance with top management and support functions/facilities, implement and maintain a robust contract review process to ensure all internal and external requirements are identified and met.**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS**- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related field- 5+ years of experience in oil and gas industry and quality control- Experience with lean manufacturing principles (Six Sigma)- Experience related to special processes in NDT- Proficiency using Microsoft Software Suite- NDE nondestructive examination knowledge in MT, PT, UT- Clear understanding of API Q1/ISO 9001- Proficiency in English language
