Overview:
Are you ready to take your career to the next level with an industry leader in audio technology? We're seeking a dynamic and passionate Market Development Specialist to drive business growth by generating demands and opportunities in the vibrant Pro Audio market segment in Brazil.
**This position is based in São Paulo - SP.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Implements strategic plans to seed and go-to-market with new products and technologies
- Identifies, researches, evaluates and prioritizes market leads and opportunities to influence purchases and specifications with key end-users and influencers
- Identifies needs for education programs and helps to develop and deliver presentations to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Shure's product categories
- Executes educational programs, presentations, conferences, seminars, clinics and other events with Sales Management to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Company products
- Assists independent channel partners in identifying and closing leads and opportunities
- Identifies and forms relationships with potential customers outside of the current Company revenue stream
- Monitors and reports on competitive activity, both from a product and market development standpoint
- Monitors online forums as assigned and reports on items of interest to the Company
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pro audio market with a comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and equipment and continues developing professional expertise
- Background or experience with broadcasting and music industry
- Has a full understanding of industry practices and/or company policies and procedures
- Experience providing audio technical support, audio design and audio equipment set-up
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for difficult assignments and of diverse scope
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Enjoys meeting and dealing with new people
- Knowledge of audio DSP technology
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (i.e. Salesforce)
- Proficient troubleshooting skills
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Ability to handle multiple assignments work independently and see projects through to successful completion
- Detail oriented, well-organized, and good time management skills
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Language skills: Fluent Portuguese. English highly desired. Spanish a plus
