What You’d Be Doing In This Role As Canva scales, change is part of our DNA. This role involves:
Strategy:
Acting as the main leadership point for user and revenue growth in Brazil, coordinating local and global teams to create and execute a multi-year growth strategy, and owning KPIs such as MAUs and ARR. Localization:
Working with regional teams to optimize our product, content, pricing, and packaging to meet local market needs, considering cultural nuances across diverse audiences. Leadership:
Hiring, inspiring, and coaching the in-market team, ensuring high impact and performance management. Budget:
Collaborating with regional teams to shape marketing strategies and allocate budgets. Sponsorship:
Building relationships with enterprise, education, government, and partnership stakeholders. Public Face:
Representing Canva at press, PR events, and community engagements. You're Probably a Match If You excel in:
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth across multiple sectors. Experience in market growth, such as leading a regional team for a SaaS company or being a founder in a high-growth startup. Proven leadership, with ability to inspire and coach teams, and high emotional intelligence. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders. Analytical skills, focused on KPIs, with the ability to derive insights from data. Product orientation, with experience localizing global products for specific markets. Alignment with Canva’s mission and values, with strong references. Public speaking experience and media presence skills. Well-established network in government, corporate, media, or local talent sectors. As the Brazil Country Manager, you will lead strategic efforts to grow user base and revenue, coordinating cross-functional teams and leveraging deep market knowledge.
