Location

Remote-first in Brazil; option to work from São Paulo offices or partner coworking spaces up to twice a week.

What we look for
  • Proven experience with Agile development practices, including Scrum or Kanban;
  • Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript;
  • Strong understanding of database design and evolution;
  • Experience designing and evolving software architecture from the ground up;
  • Skilled in creating RESTful APIs;
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance tracking;
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals: version control, testing, deployment automation, code reviews, design documentation;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software issues and contribute to product evolution;
  • Work with Agile methodologies and participate in ceremonies to improve team processes;
  • Own the software development lifecycle from definition to maintenance;
  • Guard delivery quality, promoting good practices; participate in code and design reviews;
  • Handle complex scenarios at scale, resilience, and fault tolerance;
  • Incidents handling, troubleshooting, post-mortems and preventive actions;
  • Design and maintain scalable and reliable software architecture and design patterns;
  • Drive continuous improvement in how we build software;
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance;
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality.
