About the TeamThe TikTok LIVE team's mission is to work hand-in-hand with creators & influencers, agencies, and partnership organizations to create an environment that brings communities together in real time to create meaningful and interactive connections around the globe.
Responsibilities- Agency BD and Onboarding: Drive broader market awareness about TikTok LIVE business opportunities, proactively promote LIVE in the content industry, form strategic partnerships with key players in the content and talent business, and onboard them to become LIVE agencies. Develop strong new agency onboarding programs and build solid training curriculums focused on operational capabilities and LIVE monetization techniques to help agencies succeed in LIVE. Responsible for BD quantity and quality metrics as well as new agency early success metrics.
- Agency Growth Operation: Build structured agency growth paths and professionalization journeys, develop relevant training strategies and implementation tactics to effectively increase agencies' revenue and profitability on the platform. Define winning content strategies for agencies and agency creators to reach new audiences and monetization milestones. Identify internal management gaps and conceptualize efficient operation models, providing easily digestible training materials to guide agencies in implementation. Rebuild and iterate the agency incentives structure based on an understanding of agencies' needs and objectives, utilizing platform resources to drive the achievement of OKRs. Proactively seek and transfer global and regional best practices to the local market, and hold competitions among agencies to enhance market competitiveness. Responsible for agency revenue growth metrics and other qualitative metrics on content improvement and creator progress.
- Team Management and XFN Collaboration: Set team and individual quarterly and monthly OKRs for each team member, develop structured progress tracking mechanisms, and ensure targets are met. Assess the strengths and areas for improvement of each team member and develop individualized growth plans. Enhance team members' abilities in creative problem solving, effective communication, and results-driven working habits. Act as the liaison between regional and central teams on Agency policy and governance, advocating for the region's benefits and interests in central decision-making. Represent LIVE in XFN occasions and form strategic alliances with other departments of TikTok.
- 5 years of working experience in the tech industry, such as LIVE, LIVE Agency Management, B2B management experience in the content industry, e-commerce, financial services, or O2O services.
- Must have 2 years or more of people management experience.
- Must speak English and Mandarin fluently to effectively partner with global agencies in their native language.
- Experience with revenue targets and a proven track record of bringing exponential growth to the business.
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to a fast-changing environment.
- Direct experience in LIVE or LIVE agency management.
- Experience with leading growth plateau breakthroughs and pivoting to success.
- Portuguese is a high plus to communicate with local stakeholders.
