Manage packaging development projects, explore saving opportunities for the category in the packaging area. Support E2E organization with the implementation of continuous improvement projects and margin increase activities. Explore opportunities to increase the sustainability profile of our packaging portfolio. Support commercial area to deliver project grid. Work proactively in risk management projects with Procurement and suppliers to garantee the business continuity in a very challenging environment.
**What you will do**
- Validate new processes and components (injected parts, flexibles, cartons, corrugate), suppliers, third parties
- Lead effort of development of more sustainable bundle to meet Corporate goals
- Validate alternative raw materials (resins, inks, etc.) and evaluate impact on formulation with R&D
- Support Quality and Manufacturing team in solving packing materials related issues
- Support and prepare timetable of the projects of his/her responsibility
- Assure that the technical and esthetical parameters requested in the brief are all met
- Support and lead programs of funding the growth and Continuous improvement for the production plant and for the Region
- Benchmark with competitors and other categories to improve packaging execution and specifications
- Prepare material analysis and documentation
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree In Materials/ Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
- Bachelor's Degree In Industrial processes and engineering or similar area
- Experience in Cosmetic, Chemical or Food Industry in the area of Packaging, Quality or similar
- Knowledge and work with packaging production processes and printing processes
- Ability to find mutual beneficial solutions
- Intermediate to upper intermediate english level
- knowledge of SAP, Google and MS tools, Cape/Tops and similar software of palletization
- Adaptable in the face of important issues or decisions
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Fosters an environment where direct or indirect feedback are always welcome and where everyone feels at ease to exchange opinions.
- Good business presentation skills and fair ability of negotiation
- Intermediate to upper intermediate spanish level
