About The Role

We are creating a new D2C subscription product and are looking for a Managing Director to oversee day-to-day operations, drive execution, and build a world-class team.

Profit Share

This role comes with a profit-sharing incentive and stock options with high earning potential. More details will be shared during the interview.

About You

You are a dynamic and hands-on leader with extensive experience in the D2C Digital Products space (preferably subscriptions). You excel at driving growth and innovation, with a deep understanding of engineering, product, marketing, and growth strategies. You will lead all departments with a focus on executing strategic initiatives and optimizing performance across the board. Your proven ability to manage teams, deliver results under pressure, and engage in the technical and operational aspects of the business makes you a strong candidate to steer our company toward continued success.

What you’ll do
  • Lead the company's strategic growth by developing and executing initiatives that drive business expansion, optimize market positioning, and advance overall progress.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in executing complex strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across engineering, product development, growth, marketing, and sales.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability while optimizing operational expenses.
  • Oversee the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring products meet market needs and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with customer expectations and business goals.
  • Ensure that the product roadmap is aligned with business strategy and customer feedback.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns, ensuring they are data-driven, customer-centric, and aligned with product launches and sales strategies.
  • Utilize data analytics to refine and optimize growth strategies, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
  • Monitor and analyze key financial and operational metrics such as revenue growth, EBITDA margins, and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
  • Evaluate customer lifetime value (LTV) and return on ad spend (ROAS) to optimize marketing efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Track onboarding conversion rates to identify areas for improvement in user experience and increase customer activation; analyze ARPU and retention rates to inform product development and profitability.

Location

Ruby Labs operates in the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome as long as they are within approximately ±4 hours of CET to ensure optimal collaboration during working hours.
