About the Job The Customer Intelligence team seeks a Senior Pre‑Sales Solutions Architect to assist sales teams with solution‑sales activities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maximising revenue opportunities. In this role, you will relate technical concepts and business requirements to SAS applications and user needs, applying strong problem‑solving skills. Our team is growing in Latin America to provide specialised engagement to customers in Telecom, Utilities, Financial Services, Government and Retail. This is a great opportunity to drive our cloud‑native MarTech and Personalisation Value Propositions in the Latin American market and engage prospects and customers at events. As a Sr Pre-Sales Solutions Architect You Will Build trusted relationships with Account Executives and clients to align expectations and highlight business value of SAS solutions. Collaborate strategically with sales teams, contributing domain expertise and solution leadership to support sales objectives. Conduct discovery and proposal development, gathering business requirements and crafting tailored solution recommendations. Deliver impactful demonstrations and presentations, showcasing SAS capabilities, competitive advantages and business benefits. Support RFI/RFP responses, emphasizing domain relevance and business value through compelling, well‑informed content. Maintain deep product and industry knowledge, participating in training and staying current on SAS offerings and competitive positioning. Engage in cross‑functional collaboration, supporting proof of concepts, marketing events, and knowledge sharing with technical teams. Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, solution sales, project management, applications development, and/or customer support. Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business, Computer Science or related field (preferred). Previous experience implementing or supporting Martech solutions such as SAS Customer Intelligence, Salesforce, Adobe, Oracle, Braze, etc. Portuguese native; fluent in English. Ability to act independently, determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. Broad expertise or unique knowledge, using skills to contribute to company objectives and principles, achieving goals creatively and effectively. Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications. Additional Competencies, Knowledge and Skills Thought leadership in a single domain or industry (publishes articles, leads demand‑generation activities, speaks at conferences). Ability to communicate in Spanish. Strong facilitation and communication skills. Advanced knowledge of Marketing Technology solutions, architecture and resources. Clear understanding of sales strategies and cycles. Good problem‑solving, organisational, decision‑making and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
