We are looking for a committed individual to join our team at Tietoevry Create as a Customer Manager. Tietoevry Create is the leading digital accelerator for innovation and sustainable value creation. We combine business design with software engineering to bring digital business to life. Our Austrian team consists of 300 qualified employees in Vienna, Graz, and Linz and is part of a global organization with 9,000 colleagues. We place great emphasis on development and growth. Our solutions convince our customers, particularly in the Manufacturing & Automotive sector, which is why we are continuing to expand this business area. In this role, you are part of our Austrian team and serve customers from the industrial, automotive, and financial sectors. The position reports directly to Dietmar Gritsch, our Head of Manufacturing, Automotive, and Financial Services.

Responsibilities
  • You maintain long-term customer relationships and are a respected contact person for decision-makers.
  • With your expertise, you make an impression in consulting and software projects and oversee their implementation.
  • You increase customer satisfaction (NPS), establish new contacts, and secure customer references.
  • You drive the company's financial success by actively advancing the implementation of contracts and achieving revenue goals.
  • You ensure sustainable growth and high profitability by always keeping margins and order backlogs in view.
  • Together with your team, you identify new business opportunities, pursue them consistently, and implement them successfully.
  • You are responsible for creating proposals and conducting commercial negotiations, carefully weighing both profitability and potential risks.
  • You actively shape customer projects and are responsible for their successful implementation and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • You coordinate and lead our global teams to deliver maximum value to the customers.
  • You foster a culture of learning, innovation, and collaboration, always aiming to achieve excellent results and tangible business benefits.
  • With your comprehensive industry and technology expertise, you actively drive strategic initiatives at Tietoevry.
  • You strengthen the company's market presence and innovation capabilities.
  • You represent Tietoevry at industry events and customer meetings, bringing valuable insights to the table.
  • Additionally, you continuously develop new ideas and share your knowledge within the company and with external partners.
Who we are looking for
  • At least five years of experience in customer management, business development, or sales
  • Experience in selling IT solutions and services with a focus on applications and data (not solely product or license sales)
  • In-depth industry knowledge in the Manufacturing or Automotive sector and an understanding of industry-specific processes and challenges
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

The annual gross salary for this position will start from € 63.000,00 on a full-time basis, depending on your qualifications and experience. Our aim is to provide a salary package that is competitive and reflects your relevant experience, while aligning with current market standards.
