**About the Role**:
- As the Field Ops Strategy Lead, you will bring an operational lens to the team - using your data-driven decision making, daring Leadership, and problem solving skills to help define the future of Field Operations across LATAM. Field Operations is the largest area in Community Operations LatAm, composed of the two Centers of Excellence (Costa Rica and Brazil) and +90 In-person operations, spread out in 17 different countries. This Strategy Lead is a key leadership role within the LatAm CommOps Organization, which will drive process standardization, continuous improvement, operational projects, analytics and all the people & business related topics.
- The role will be responsible for leading a team with different levels of seniority and skills, so extraordinary people leadership is a must to succeed in the role.
- We are looking for a senior and exceptional leader with strong eye for business, critical thinking and sophisticated problem solving, who is able to coordinate cross-functional groups to deliver a successful regional/sub-regional strategy and execution plan, and lead a large team.
**What You'll Do**:
**Operational process & reporting**:
- Coordinate the team in the design and implementation of SOPs/playbooks across the operations, accordingly to the projects and needs of the operations, aiming to improve efficiency, quality and standardization;
- Proactively find opportunities and look for continuous improvement & efficiency projects, challenging the status quo and bringing creative solutions, in order to improve our operations' - with data at the heart of every decision;
- Ensure the procedures are well implemented and running properly in both operations, Greenlights and Centers of Excellence, by implementing a robust audit process;
- Drive robust analysis and implement processes/tools which contributes to the improvements of the operations;
- Know the numbers of the operations inside and out; use data to find opportunities in both GLs & COEs and implement recommendations to increase efficiency;
- Develop your team to run real-time analysis to identify the root cause of spikes, avoid gaps & backlog, contributes on the implementation of dashboards and generates the data needed in our meetings, projects and overall business plans
- Develop strong reports that facilitate all the people's needs, target setting, etc..
**Operational Projects**:
- Own the planning, prioritization and projects definition in Field Operations;
- Lead the governance, tracking and documentation of all the operational projects, as well coordinating the execution across the operations;
- PM high-impact initiatives & projects, led regionally or globally;
- Align with & leverage stakeholders ensuring efforts are aligned & do not represent duplicated efforts. Recurring project reviews with our cross functional areas and managers;
- Develop executive-level communications and presentations for Uber's leadership;
- Remove roadblocks and generate alignment between sub-regional teams, avoiding redundancy and waste.
**People & Business Support**:
- Be accountable and represent Field Operations in all the Global people initiatives;
- Led all the topics related to the P4P (pay for performance) program, coordinating it with global and the local leadership;
- Assess all the EXT markets, finding opportunities for internalization as well improvements in the relationship with the agencies and the EXT population;
- Coordinate all the people-related action plans (e.g. Pulse Survey, UMS, etc);
- Build a lasting partnership with the Engagement and People teams, ensuring all the programs are well implemented and operating properly across the other teams (Engagement, CST, Gigs, Expeditionary, etc.);
- Create strong business cases which drives actions into the operations or with other support areas;
- Own the POs management & day-to-day budget control;
- Support the business with all the Facilities related topics as well being responsible for the pop-ups management;
- Build a strong process for all the external visits in our sites (COE & GL), providing an excellent experience for internal and external stakeholders (including Government and Auditors), while keeping our teams producing regularly.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of robust work experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or other roles with a proven track record of driving business impact;
- Strong relationship building, stakeholder management, & collaboration skills;
- Amazing communication and storytelling skills. You are a clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate relevant insights
- Key-player to motivate change and skilled negotiator to get to the best solutions across different teams with different priorities;
