**About the Role**:
As a Strategy & Planning Associate within the Uber Eats LatAm S&P - Strategic Initiatives team, you will play a key role for the business by owning the operationalization and scaling of Uber Direct, one of our 2021 LatAm Eats priority workstreams

Direct is a business that focuses on last-mile delivery across all verticals - Online Food Delivery, Retail, Ecommerce, and more; rapidly growing the ways in which Uber connects the world. Even internally, Direct requires the organization to think outside the box as we interact with and lead stakeholders from all lines of business. The LatAm Eats Strategic Initiatives team leads the incubation and the implementation of high-impact innovation projects for UberEats in LatAm, we rely on strong alignment and collaboration across organizations, regional, and subregional teams, so we are able to get these big bold bets across the finish line in light-speed.

**What You'll Do**:

- Project management: you will build Direct along with many partners in U4B, Territory Ops, Product & Engineering, Regional Analytics & Automation, Sales, Account Management, Legal, Taxes...the list goes on. Having the right management systems (trackers, pipeline, meetings), in place for a strategic project
- Product: you will champion the relationship with Product so that our business needs for LatAm are appropriately tailored to set us up for success
- Operationalization & Hustle: As a new business, you’ll build tools & processes that potentially don’t exist anywhere else in the org - here’s a lot of hustle and getting our hands in the mud. We test things, break them, deep dive into issues, repair them, and test once more until the business works as intended

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or other quantitative focus
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience. Experience working at or interacting with delivery-oriented or tech companies is highly desired
- Professional proficiency in English
- Strong communication, planning & organizing, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
- Previous experiences that prove your sense of ownership, a getting-things-done approach, and the ability to go from high-level business strategy to tactical execution
- Critical thinking and analytical rigour, as you will be dealing with data (reports, experiments, pricing models) and scaling processes
- Phenomenal skills at SQL
- Any kind of commercial experience is very valuable too

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Python is a plus
