The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar roles in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, and is committed to helping end users who need assistance. Responsibilities Participate in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. Support end users via channels such as Slack and Jira; own the first line of support. Procure and deliver technology equipment; manage onboarding and offboarding of employees. Design, test, build, and document programs, tools and policies; contribute improvements to existing knowledge bases. Support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.). Manage Mac endpoints and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf, etc.). Own and contribute to improvements on identity providers and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta, etc.). Document solutions, craft help articles, and automate routine tasks. Manage incidents and issues to resolution; prioritize help desk tickets and work on projects with agile methods. Set and pursue objectives and key results aligned with team and company goals. Qualifications & Skills 7+ years in SaaS systems administration (e.g., Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite). Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, Python, etc.; familiarity with open source tools (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.). Experience integrating SSO into Okta and building workflows in Okta; strong API integration skills. Remote support experience across multiple countries/time zones; capable of hardware shipping/receiving and customs. Excellent written and verbal communication across media; clear, concise, and culturally sensitive communication. Proficiency in documentation, tickets, emails, and Slack communications. Strong problem-solving ability with knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and OSI model troubleshooting. Ability to self-manage, scope projects, and coordinate across multiple teams. Nice to Haves Some familiarity with AWS; experience with GAM and command-line interfaces. Jamf certifications, Okta certifications, Google Workspace certifications.
