The Opportunity: We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate wears many hats, including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated success in similar roles within security-first, rapidly growing environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code, and enjoys helping end users who need assistance. Responsibilities Be the first line of support for employees, providing outstanding support via Slack, Jira, and other tools. Procure and deliver technology equipment and manage onboarding/offboarding experiences for staff. Design, test, build, and document programs, policies, and tools; contribute improvements to existing knowledge bases. Support and manage SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, and related services. Manage Mac endpoints and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf, etc.). Own and improve IDP and SSO integrations (GSuite, Okta, etc.). Document solutions, write help articles, and automate routine tasks. Manage, respond to, and resolve critical incidents to completion; prioritize help desk tickets and manage projects in sprints (agile). Set and pursue objectives and key results aligned to team and company goals. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration (Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite). Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, Python, etc.; experience with open source tooling (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.). Experience integrating SSO into Okta and building workflows; proficient with APIs and system integrations. Remote support across multiple countries/time zones; experience shipping and receiving hardware and handling customs. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts clearly and empathetically. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and OSI troubleshooting; knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching. Self-management skills with the ability to scope projects and coordinate across teams. Nice to Have / Culture Fit Familiarity with AWS; experience using GAM and CLI to improve efficiency. Jamf, Okta, Google Workspace certifications; strong ability to adapt in a startup/tech environment. Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and the ability to work in a remote setting.
