We offer a marketplace for patients to schedule appointments and a SaaS system that optimizes office management, patient flow and online bookings. What you will do Lead the Brazilian accounting team, covering hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, coaching, development, and engagement. Ensure timely, accurate daily accounting – vendor bills, invoicing, payments, cash – by staying hands‑on and stepping in with entries, reconciliations, and close tasks as needed. Drive month‑end close activities on schedule, including final review of balance sheet accounts such as bank, payroll, fixed assets, accrual accounting, deferred costs, taxes, AP and AR. Assist senior accountants with record reviews, reconciliation management, clearing open items, and preparing financial statements, tax declarations, and monthly financial reports; cooperate with tax advisors. Serve as a key contact for the local finance team, handling escalations and providing guidance on complex issues. Lead financial and accounting projects at the team level, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with group policies and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with an active CRC; a Master’s degree and an MBA are advantageous. Extensive experience in accounting within a multinational environment and proven team‑management skills. Strong leadership ability, managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced, international setting. Proficiency in ERP finance applications and advanced Excel skills. Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential. Additional Information Workplace Location – hybrid: if you live in Curitiba and the metropolitan region, you will work a few days in our office at Universe Life Square and from home. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.
