Remote Customer Service Agent Join MCI as a Remote Customer Service Agent. This Full‑time position is paid hourly and offers the flexibility to work from home. Position Overview MCI is a fast‑growing tech‑enabled business services company with a strong call center footprint. We provide Customer Experience (CX), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and Anything‑as‑a‑Service (XaaS) cloud technology solutions to industries such as healthcare, retail, government, and telecom. Our contact centers operate both on‑site and remotely, using advanced technologies to enhance customer journeys, drive scalability, and reduce costs. As a Remote Customer Service Agent you will support a diverse portfolio of well‑known clients, assisting customers with inquiries and delivering excellent service. We look for natural problem solvers who thrive on creating memorable experiences and who can communicate fluently in English. Job Details Full‑time, hourly position Remote work; must reside within 80 km of our office Prior call center experience required Work‑from‑home experience preferred High‑speed internet and a quiet work environment required Strong English language proficiency (written and spoken) Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently Resolve customer issues on the first call through effective problem‑solving Retrieve and research information across systems to support customer needs Accurately document interactions and process claims Guide customers through options to find the best solutions Follow scripts, policies, and procedures while using available resources Protect customer privacy and handle sensitive information appropriately Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members Stay current with training, updates, and program knowledge Maintain consistent attendance and adhere to scheduling requirements Candidate Qualifications 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Previous call center experience Work from home experience Strong command of the English language Typing speed of 20+ WPM High‑speed internet connection Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Familiarity with Windows operating systems Skilled in troubleshooting and follow‑up Able to multitask and self‑manage effectively Excellent interpersonal skills Conditions of Employment Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based Background/security investigation (Level II) and fingerprint required; offer contingent on results Drug screening required; offer contingent on results Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience HMO coverage with dependent options Dental coverage and in‑house dental assistance worth up to ₱5,000 Free meal during training Career growth and learning opportunities Allowances for rice, clothing, laundry, and meals Performance and loyalty bonuses Employee shuttle services Company retreats and off‑site events Recognition gifts and raffles Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary, sitting/standing for long periods while using a computer and a telephone headset.
